*POSTPONED!* Owning Our Miscarriages: Sisterhood Circle & Womb Blessing

  • Mahara Holistic Lifestyle Clercqstraat 123, Netherlands Amsterdam Nederland (map)

** CANCELLED/POSTPONED. Although a couple women shared with me that they would have loved to join this specific evening (f.e. on another date), not enough women took place in the circle for this Monday, so I am cancelling/postponing it. For me it was really about opening up the possibility to create a sacred space for women who miscarried, to heal (more) together. If you are one of these women, I really would appreciate your feedback (, if you we're still considering, if you decided it was too intimate to share your story, if the date just didn't fit, or else... your story would be very valuable to me, in order to serve you all higher next time! Gathered in Maharas intimate yurt, this evening we will create a sacred sisterhood especially for us women who went through the experience of miscarriage - and longing for a loving healing space. The evening after Mothers’ Day we will come together to own our story and become ‘the mother’ of our experiences. Within a circle of candlelight we will connect our heart with our womb. And each other. We will share our stories, as the voice and womb are connected, while holding each other in our loving presence.

Also we will explore what this experience may have brought to us. Finally we will receive the (13th Munay Ki) Rite of the Womb; an energetic transmission to invite our bodies to let go of fear and pain stored in our womb, in order to make space for creation and life. A lineage of Peruvian women through the jungle medicine has given us this rite and after receiving you will be able and asked to share it with as many sisters as possible. “Let’s heal our womb; let’s heal our mother’s, sister’s, and daughter’s wombs. And in this way bring healing to our Mother Earth.”

Personal note: “I went through miscarriage in January of this year, it was early stages, and still, a huge spiritual practice and experience, both extremely dark and light, painful and transformative. When I found the courage to share my story, it gave birth to beautiful connections with other women. It made me heal so much faster and that is what I wish -and facilitate- for all of us.”
